National coordinators

Cross-border cooperation with the European Thin Films Research Society (EFDS) within the European framework and beyond is crucial for a high-tech industry such as vacuum- and plasma-based surface technology.

For this reason, EFDS is expanding its European presence step by step.

National Coordinators” have been appointed by the EFDS Board for the individual countries as contact persons for companies and research institutes in these countries as well as for support in the organization of regional workshops or transnational projects of joint industrial research.

Within the framework of the European activities, the national coordinators ensure direct contact in the respective country and actively influence the networking of the EFDS in their country.
