The Executive Board of the EFDS

“The Executive Board, as defined in § 26 BGB (German Civil Code), consists of a chairperson, the secretary
of scientific work, and up to eight other board members.”

Tasks of the Executive Board

Admission of members
Management of the assets of the Association
Preparation of the General Assembly
Preparation of an annual accountability report, including a balance sheet
and overview of income and expenditure
Preparation of an estimate for the following business year
Appointment of a managing director
In urgent cases, decide on matters otherwise reserved for the general meeting, subject to subsequent approval by the next general meeting.
